Sandy Lofts

Groovy brand with an enviable eastside address

As a newly acquired property, Sandy Lofts needed a new name and identity to signify its recent change in ownership and management. The rebrand began with naming and a logo redesign.

A Buzzy New Brand

Formerly Sandy 28, our aim was to retain prominent elements of the former brand including the placemaking address and use of the orange and yellow that were widely used in the built environment. Located in the Kerns neighborhood of Portland, we renamed the property Sandy Lofts to capture the authentic urban appeal of the bustling central address.

Custom Iconography

A series of custom illustrations for Sandy Lofts highlight the neighborhood and various attractions in the greater Portland metro, giving off groovy vibes from PDX to the Eastbank Esplanade and everywhere in between.

Black, White and Bold All Over

For a more cohesive look and feel, we introduced blocky graphic contrast and an expanded playful palette to the identity, which we then carried across stationery, leasing materials and signage.

Taking It to the Streets

New window eye-catching window dressings for Sandy Lofts expand the brand's presence to the street and command attention from passerby. We dare ya not to look!
