Introducing a modern new era for the storied home of the annual Washington County Fair

Strategy
With a $50 million investment in the resurgence and sustainability of the 100 acre Fairground Complex, our job was to usher the county fairgrounds into a new era by elevating it to new grandeur as a viable and inviting year round event venue.
We worked closely with the county project team, the architectural team and never lost site of the multitude of audience types for whom the end result must have broad and lasting appeal.
With construction underway, it was time for the brand to receive an investment and upgrade to a modern era, starting with the name.
The Brand
The brand uses an array of shapes and colors to reflect the wide variety of uses and distinguish the unique venues and facilities at Westside Commons. The result is a sophisticated and playful brand that is flexible, scalable and able to grow with the expanded uses.
A New Website
In collaboration with the development team Saffire, we designed a brand new website that was implemented on the existing integrated ticketing platform. The site invites an intuitive user experience where visitors can quickly access the information they need, while experiencing the energy of attending an event at Westside Commons.
Results
We have captured the fun, fair spirit and elevated the property into its new era of becoming a sophisticated events venue with the ability to draw audiences year round and serve the county for generations to come.
